Bayou Meto needs no introduction to the seasoned hunter and hosts over 13,000 acres of Green Tree Reservoirs that hold huge amounts of wintering mallards. To the south Goose Lake Hunting Club is known to harvest limits of birds every morning with staggering annual harvest numbers. To the east you have Hasty Drake, Hardly Able and Hamptons Reservoir all of which are holding and harvesting boat loads of mallards annually.
