John first came to Arkansas while stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base, where he spent more than four years serving the local mission. During that time, he developed a deep appreciation for the people, the culture, and the unmatched outdoor opportunities the Natural State offers. With his wife being a central Arkansas native and much of her family still rooted in the area, choosing to make Arkansas their permanent home was both practical and personal. Now living in Ward with his wife of 15 years, and their two daughters, John spends much of his free time in the woods or on the water, often sharing hunts and teaching his girls the same passion for the outdoors that shaped him.
John recently retired from a 20-plus-year career as a Combat Controller in Air Force Special Operations, where he deployed multiple times to Afghanistan alongside U.S. Army Special Forces and spent years training partner special operations forces throughout Europe. Throughout his career he earned numerous commendations, including two Bronze Star Medals, reflecting the level of dedication and professionalism he brings to every mission and now to his work in real estate.
