Located between Bald Knob and Augusta, Arkansas, this 1809 acre hunting paradise sets right on the banks of the White River. This property is across the river from White Oaks Duck Woods and is in the best duck flyway in Arkansas. The property consists of 1,176 acres of bottomland that was enrolled into Wetlands Reserve Easement. This project was designed and completed in 2021 by Jody Pagan, who is known for his extensive work with Five Oaks in Stuttgart. Within this WRE area, over 200 acres of controlled flooded moist soil units were created that can be pumped with 2 relifts and underground pipe from the White River. There is also an additional 300 acres of land that floods regularly from Cut off Creek. The remaining open WRE land was planted in hardwood trees and will be extensive cover and habitat in just 5 years. The remaining acreage, that was not enrolled into WRE, is merchantable pine timber that is enrolled in Conservation Reserve Program but expires in September of 2022. This area offers additional upland hunting and has several coveys of wild quail and turkey. The upland pine can be further developed and would make a great spot for a hunting lodge.
